Cesar Vallejo
Born in 1892 in the North Peruvian Santiago de Cuco. Study of humanities and law in Trujillo. Stay in Lima, inprisonment 1920 – 1921 because of alleged arson. He left South America in 1923, lived in Madrid and Paris. His lyrical work includes »Los Heraldos negros« (1919), »Trilce« (1923) and »Poemas humanos«(1939). He also published novels, stories, travel reports and essays.
